This website
This is a static product and download website. It has no account system, advertising scripts, analytics code or contact form. The interactive wallpaper, blur and theme previews operate in your browser. The rain preview is synthesized in your browser and does not use your microphone.
The site does not save the text you enter into its demo search field. Submitting a search opens the destination you selected with the query in its URL. Those services handle information under their own policies. Shortcut links similarly open the named third-party website.
Website files, videos, images and the extension ZIP are served by the website’s hosting provider. Like ordinary web requests, the hosting provider receives connection information such as your IP address and browser headers, and may keep its own access or security logs. The developer’s hosting configuration determines those logs.
The extension
The download on this website is Tahoe Glass – iOS Aesthetic New Tab, version 1.0.0, packaged from the developer-provided extension folder. Its settings, notes and uploaded wallpapers use browser-local storage. Features that use online services, including weather, website icons, online wallpapers, search and media information, may send requests to those providers.
The extension requests storage, unlimited storage, tabs, scripting and website access. Its media controls use tab information and packaged scripts to interact with media websites. YouTube playback information is used for the extension’s media controls. The package also contains a localhost bridge used by the original development setup; this landing page does not invoke that bridge.
This overview explains the landing-page behavior and selected extension features; it is not a substitute for reviewing the extension source and the developer’s complete extension privacy disclosures.
Your choices
Exploring the website does not install the extension. Installing it requires extracting the ZIP and manually loading its folder in Chrome. You can disable or remove the extension from chrome://extensions. Search and media services may require their own accounts.
